While we move through the summer of 2021, there's some uncertainty about how Rotary continues to offer the connections between people that Rotary members have appreciated over the years. It is clear, however, that the hands-to-face mantra will continue to be part our routine. The Rotary organization has evolved. However, there is a certain amount of uncertainty that will continue to grow as we progress to the summer of 2021. It remains to be seen if those human connections Rotary members valued during the past will remain. While the "hands in space" principle is certain to be a part of the routine in the club it is clear that the feeling of security is growing and more members make face-to-face connections. Rotary's changed. Rotary's network creates friendships that last. The outbreak of the pandemic was our catalyst to adopt technological advances. This has inspired us to improve our technology methods. Our company is online, but we have also introduced a social and service activity. These new possibilities have been paired with what we learned about our past pandemics to create a new outlook for Rotary. It is a great feeling to know that the Rotary Centre continues to support the many community projects that help the participants of Rotary and keep them safe as well, compliance and insurance are vital. The imagination and creativity of our members when it comes to finding solutions to the most challenging challenges is astounding and I am so grateful that the chance to join Rotary was given to me in the year 2002. Rotary, like so many others has given me a solid network of people who are committed to my ideals and from whom I have formed genuine friendships over the past 20 years. We must now help spread the word about Rotary by inviting our friends, family and colleagues to join Rotary.
